is usually a very happy child. Since she was born she’s been very mellow
and well behaved. She loves to smile and laugh and do the things that all
children do at her age.

this changed very recently. Most teachers at school have dubbed it
“pubescent troubles” and that’s just the way Barbara wants it. She would
hate to have to explain that her dad has been drinking pretty heavily.
After her dad got laid off from work, he started hitting the bottle again, not
